The level of service we received at Rowland Brothers Beddington from Charlee was exceptional. Charlee was empathetic, organised and professional whilst guiding us through the process of organising a funeral. On the day we were very well looked after by John Rowland who lead the Rowland Brothers team and the lovely celebrant Jo Tulley who delivered a beautiful service. Rowland Brothers in Coulsdon helped arrange my mother’s funeral recently. As I had never arranged a funeral before, the extra advice they gave me regarding the necessary paperwork was extremely helpful. Judi took the time to talk with us and outline the options for different types of funerals and our decision to use Botley Barn was the perfect choice. Joe and the team on the day made sure everything ran smoothly and made a difficult day much easier.

Absolutely wonderful — kindness when we needed it most I cannot thank Rowland Brothers Beddington enough for the incredible care, compassion and dignity they showed our family at such a difficult time. From the very first moment we reached out, we felt supported, listened to, and truly looked after. A special mention must go to Charlie, who guided us through every step with such patience, gentleness and understanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble — Charlie helped us organise everything perfectly for my mother in law taking so much weight from our shoulders and ensuring every detail was exactly as we wanted. You made a hard journey feel bearable, and we are so deeply grateful. We also want to thank the funeral drivers — they were so respectful, calm and professional. They handled everything with such care and dignity, arriving promptly and ensuring the journey was smooth and peaceful. We felt our loved one was in the safest, kindest hands. Rowland Brothers were helpful from the moment we contacted them. I was a bit dazed at first but they explained everything about timings and numbers and lovely things like the doves I had never heard of. On the day of the funeral they rang me then took care of everything payments for priest and organist eg. Also transporting us to the crematorium and back to the wake. We had paid in advance for the main part of the funeral which they had organised for us and this made a huge difference to our family. Nothing was too much for them. From the very first contact, they were very respectful, understanding and patient with our family. Everything was handled with great care and we always felt we were listened to. The funeral itself was beautiful and everything went smoothly throughout the day, they made the whole experience incredibly easy during an emotional time for our family.
